These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Sintoiya Lodge’s services, including accommodation, dining, wellness facilities, website, and all on-site activities (“the Services”). By booking, visiting, or staying at Sintoiya Lodge (“the Lodge,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Please read this document carefully before making any reservation or using our facilities.
a. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Sintoiya Lodge.
b. A deposit or full payment may be required to secure your booking, depending on the reservation type.
c. Bookings are personal and non-transferable unless expressly approved by management.
d. We reserve the right to refuse a reservation at our discretion.
a. Check-in time is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.
b. All guests are required to present valid identification upon check-in for registration purposes.
a. Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival are eligible for a full refund.
b. Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival will result in a charge equal to one night’s stay.
c. No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.
d. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 working days.
a. All rates are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
b. Payment can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or credit/debit card through secure channels.
c. Sintoiya Lodge reserves the right to adjust rates without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected.
a. Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner toward other guests, staff, wildlife, and property.
b. Disruptive, unsafe, or illegal behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.
c. Smoking is prohibited inside rooms or enclosed spaces. Designated smoking areas are provided.
d. Guests are responsible for any damage to property caused by negligence or misconduct and may be charged accordingly.
a. Guests enter and stay at Sintoiya Lodge at their own risk. The Lodge shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or death sustained on the premises or during activities, except in cases of proven negligence by the Lodge.
b. Guests are advised to stay within designated safe zones and avoid wandering into the wildlife corridor or farm areas without an authorized guide.
c. Personal belongings should be kept secure. The Lodge is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal property.
d. Children must be supervised by adults at all times.
a. The pool, spa, gardens, and wellness areas are available to registered guests and authorized visitors only.
b. Guests must follow posted safety rules when using any facility.
c. The Lodge reserves the right to temporarily close any facility for maintenance or safety reasons without compensation.
a. Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless authorized by management.
b. Any food allergies or dietary requirements must be communicated in advance.
c. Alcoholic beverages will only be served to guests aged 18 and above.
a. Sintoiya Lodge occasionally captures photos and videos in public areas such as gardens, the pool, restaurant, and event spaces for marketing and promotional purposes.
b. By entering the premises, guests acknowledge that photography or filming may occur. However, no image that clearly identifies a guest will be used without explicit written consent obtained through the signed reception form.
c. Guests who wish to opt out of appearing in any content may inform reception at check-in, and their privacy will be fully respected.
d. All photographs and videos captured by Sintoiya Lodge or its representatives remain the property of Sintoiya Lodge and may be used in digital or print media for marketing, documentation, or historical purposes.
Sintoiya Lodge shall not be held responsible or liable for any delay, cancellation, or failure in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or acts of God.
Personal information collected by Sintoiya Lodge is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We implement strict measures to ensure your information is stored and processed securely.
All content on the Sintoiya Lodge website, marketing materials, and digital platforms—including photographs, videos, logos, and text—is the intellectual property of Sintoiya Lodge and may not be used, copied, or distributed without prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sintoiya Lodge, its employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or personal property arising from your stay or use of our services.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved amicably between the parties. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to arbitration under the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya Chapter), whose decision shall be final and binding.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
Sintoiya Lodge reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the effective date clearly stated.
